The German TV show 1899, which was made by Jantje Friese and Baran Bo Odar, is an upcoming epic mystery-horror show set in the past. Both Friese and Odar worked together on the sci-fi series “Dark” and the techno-thriller film “Who Am I?” They are now producing “1899” under the name “Dark Ways.”The series’ official pre-production began in November 2020, and filming began in May 2021 outside of Berlin, Germany. 1899 Story Line
In 1899, a group of people from different countries left London to start a new life in New York. They are all looking forward to the new century and dreaming of a better life overseas. Still, they are all traveling with secrets they are doing their best to hide. But when they set sail, they ran into another migrant ship that had been missing for months, drifting in the open sea. What they find on board changes their lives forever, and a web of secrets starts to be revealed.

Deadline said in December 2020 that Emily Beecham is a part of the cast of 1899 and will play the part of Maura Franklin. In May 2021, Deadline said that Andreas Pietschmann will also be in 1899. Here is a full list of the actors:

Before, the series was supposed to start in 2021, but there were delays. In early 2022, it was confirmed that the series would be on Netflix in the fall or winter of 2022. Sometime in November 2022, 1899 is expected to arrive on the platform. But the official 1899 Netflix Release Date hasn’t been announced by the people who made it yet.
There will be a total of eight episodes in the series, and the first one is called “The Ship.” Each episode of this epic drama series will run for 60 minutes. It will have characters from all over the world, and they will speak their languages.

In June 2022, the show’s creators released a teaser for the series. It’s about a group of European immigrants who leave London on a steamship to start over in New York City. But their journey takes an unexpected turn when they see another migrant ship drifting in the open sea. What they find on board will turn their trip to the promised land into a nightmare riddle that links each passenger’s past through a web of secrets.
