Marvel Comics Scott Lang/Ant-Man and Hope Pym/Wasp will soon be on the big screen in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, an upcoming American superhero film. It is the 31st film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and was produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures as a sequel to Ant-Man (2015) and Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018). (MCU). Starring Michael Douglas, Michelle Pfeiffer, Kathryn Newton, Jonathan Majors, and Randall Park, the picture was directed by Peyton Reed from a script by Jeff Loveness. Paul Rudd plays Scott Lang, while Evangeline Lilly plays Hope van Dyne. Together with their loved ones, Lang and van Dyne venture into the Quantum Realm to confront Kang the Conqueror (Majors).
In November 2019, it was announced that Reed and Rudd would be returning for a third Ant-Man film. By April of the next year (2020), Loveness had been employed, and production on the film had begun during the COVID-19 epidemic. The film’s new name and a few of its new stars were announced in December 2020. Production on the picture began in Turkey in early February 2021, continued in San Francisco in the middle of June, and then moved to Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire, England, towards the end of July 2021 and wrapped up in late November.

The release date of the first film in Phase Five of the MCU was pushed back from February 2023 to July 28 of that year (in October 2021), and then back to February 2023 again in April of that same year.

Director Peyton Reed stated before the release of Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018) that there is “a lot to play with” for a third film in the franchise. When the month of November 2019 rolled around, Reed had formally committed to directing a third Ant-Man picture.
