Demon Slayer Season 3 Release Date, Characters, Trailer, Storyline And More

In his manga series Demon Slayer, Koyoharu Gotge takes on the role of a demon slayer. After witnessing his little sister Nezuko’s descent into the realm of the demons, Kamado Tanjir sets out to find a solution to bring her back to human form. Between February 15, 2016, and May 18, 2020, the manga was released. As of April 6, 2019, a new season of the anime adaption has begun broadcasting.

This article will discuss the possibility of a Demon Slayer Season 3, because the second season is coming to a close.

Demon Slayer’s third season has yet to be announced, although it’s a near-certainty that the programme will be renewed. The show’s second season is presently running, and we won’t know anything about the show’s future until the conclusion of that season. This year is likely to see the announcement of a new season of Demon Slayer, which might broadcast as late as late 2023 or early 2024.

The remainder of this article will provide you with all the information you’ve been waiting for about Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba’s upcoming third season.

Find out when it could be released, whether there is a trailer, what the plot might be about, and much more about this wonderful anime series.

Demon Slayer Season 3 Release Date

There are presently two seasons of Demon Slayer, as well as a movie that acts as a transition between the seasons. There were 26 episodes in the first season, which broadcast from April 6 to September 28. On October 16, 2020, there will be a sequel to Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train, which will be shown on Netflix. Beginning on October 10, 2021, the show’s second season, which includes 18 episodes, started airing.

However, the manga has already been finished and we know how much of the story we need to adapt.

Slayer was a huge success from the get-go. Manga’s popularity led to an international smash that has been hailed as one of the most successful anime series in contemporary times.

The Entertainment District arc, which concluded with Chapter 99 of the manga, will be wrapped up in the second season of the anime. To put it another way, more than 100 chapters of the manga remain to be converted. Isn’t this excellent news? It is indeed!

The third season of Demon Slayer has yet to be announced.. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba’s popularity and the amount of material it has yet to be adapted make it a safe bet for a third season, even if the second season is still running. We don’t believe there should be any question about it, and we expect that the show’s third season will be confirmed shortly after the second season ends.

With all of this in mind, we estimate that the third season of Demon Slayer won’t air until the second half of 2023 or possibly 2024.

Demon Slayer Season 3 Characters

In light of what you’ve learned about Demon Slayer season 3, you’ve probably figured it out for yourself that there is no trailer for the third season. We have to wait for confirmation of the third season (which is very probably going to happen) before we can have any expectations of seeing a trailer since it’s still too early for a third season trailer.

Demon Slayer is a safe bet for a second season, but it’s still too soon to begin production. As both the manga and the anime were huge successes, it’s quite probable that the series will be revived. Since there’s no official word yet, we’ll have to keep our eyes peeled for further details.

According to our calculations, a new Demon Slayer season 3 trailer won’t be released till early 2023, depending on when the third season is actually shown.

Demon Slayer Season 3 Story

The third season of Demon Slayer may be based on the two major arcs that follow the Entertainment District Arc, if previous events are any indication. One is the Swordsmith Village Arc, the second is Hashira Training Arc, and the third is Final Battle Arc. We expect the Swordsmith Village and Hashira Training arcs to be adapted for the third season since we doubt they’ll attempt to extend the final arc into the following season. Both are summarised below.

For his new Nichirin Blade, Tanjiro Kamado had been dispatched to the Swordsmith Village. Genya Shinazugawa and Mitsuri Kanroji are both present. One day when Tanjiro was strolling through the hamlet, he saw Muichiro Tokito who was seeking for a key that would allow him to launch Yoriichi Zeroroshiki, an antique doll that contained a strange Nichirin Blade.

Muichiro fractures one of her six limbs while practising with the doll. For fear he won’t be as good of a craftsman as his father, Koteetsu runs away from home. In the end, Tanjiro comes to his aid. And when he finally gets to the doll, he calls Tanjiro “that blasted uncaring bastard” and tells him to become tougher than he is.

Training with the combat doll, which is both painful and severe, starts now. When Tanjiro succeeds to strike the doll after seven days and obtains the ability to smell enemy movements with his nose, he proceeds to hack off the head of Yoriichi Zeroshiki the next day. An antique nichirin sword is discovered within the doll by the heroes, and it is taken by Hotaru Haganezuka for restoration and polishing.

The fifth and fourth higher moons assault the settlement. A brawl breaks out between Hantengu and Tanjiro Kamado while they are having their influential chat with Muichiro Tokito. Genya Shinazugawa and Nezuko Kamado get intertwined throughout this conflict. By chance, he comes across Gyokka, who is ready to murder Haganezuku, and interrupts his polishing process just in time.

Gyokko is defeated by Muichiro after he overcomes his own self-doubt. Also joining the battle against Hantengu is Mitsuri Kanroji, who obtains a heart-shaped mark. Tanjiro utilises his fresh, unpolished sword to track down the actual body of the fourth moon. Because to Nezuko Kamado’s triumph over her evil abilities, the sun’s rays no longer injure her.

Demon Slayer Season 3 Characters

The primary cast of Demon Slayer won’t see many changes until the show’s final arc. Some new characters will be added, and many adversaries will be killed off, but the core cast will stay mostly unaltered until the conclusion of the series. As a result, we expect the primary voice cast to return not just for the upcoming third season but for any and all future ones as well, as it’s an unspoken law in current anime translations.

There’s no way to know for sure until the season premieres, but we’re going to presume that most of the people listed in our table will be back for more episodes of Demon Slayer.

Here Are The Final Words

There is currently no way to view the third season of Demon Slayer since the season has yet to be released and we don’t know the official release date. The programme will likely be available to stream and/or watch on Crunchyroll in the West (and potentially overseas if a streaming service like Netflix acquires the show), but we’ll have to wait to see which Japanese TV station airs it until it is announced.

The third season of Demon Slayer hasn’t been announced yet (although it’s almost a certainty), so it’s too early to speculate on a possible forth, but there are several fantastic clues that Demon Slayer will continue after the possible third season.

Because the manga for Demon Slayer has yet to be completed and the seasons have fewer episodes, the show’s creators have less room to develop the story in a single season, but they also have more room for future seasons, as such programmes shouldn’t be rushed.

It’s hard to see how a third season of Demon Slayer could possibly close things up, which means that a fourth season is nearly certain to happen. However, we’ll have to wait for formal confirmation before we can be sure.
