Only Murders in the Building is one of the biggest shows available on streaming services right now. The series, which started in 2021 and stars Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez, tells the story of three people who live in an apartment building and end up getting involved in a murder investigation for their new podcast, “Only Murders in the Building.”The show’s second season just ended, and since it ended on a cliffhanger, I’m sure you, like many others, are wondering when the heck Season 3 will come around to answer all those questions. Are Only Murders In The Building season 3 Renewed Or Cancelled?
On July 11, Hulu officially renewed Only Murders in the Building for a third season. Using the official Only Murders in the Building Twitter account, they posted, “My neighbors have a special message for you all: #OnlyMurdersInTheBuilding will be back for Season 3! Now I just have to worry about who’s next… I hope it’s not me!” along with a video announcement.
Selena Gomez also retweeted the post, but she added, “So excited for SEASON 3!!!”

Selena herself seemed to accidentally let the news out before season 2 came out. She told The Hollywood Reporter, “I finished season 2, I did my cooking show, and now I’ll be in the studio until season 3. We’ll be working on new music.”Also, Only Murders in the Building showrunner John Hoffman told Metro, “There’s so much hope for a season 3 that comes from all of us. Everyone involved in the show loved this experience. So, we’re all very hopeful about a season 3, and as a bit of a tease, the story lends itself at the end of our season 2.”
He also said, “So hang tight at the end of season 2—we’re working on something new that will lead us to season 3.”

What Can We Expect From Season 3 Of “Only Murders In The Building?”
Based on the end of season 2, it seems like the story of season 3 of Only Murders in the Building will be about Charles, Oliver, and Mabel looking into the murder of Ben Glenroy. In the episode, we find out that Ben and Charles will both be in Oliver’s new play. But right as the opening night show starts, Ben dies tragically on stage.
Who is to blame? As of now, it is still not clear. Charles and Ben don’t get along, so Charles will probably be a suspect in the case. But we think the real killer will be someone we didn’t think of. Who, in your opinion, is to blame?

Most of the other Arconia characters, including Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez, are also likely to come back for Season 3. And Vulture says that Paul Rudd will be in Season 3 after the end of Season 2! Ant-Man himself!
Rudd makes a short appearance in the Season 2 finale, which takes place one year after Becky’s arrest. Oliver is now in charge of a Broadway show with Charles and a man named Ben (played by Rudd). As Ben walks onto the stage, Charles yells at him, the curtain goes up, and…Ben falls to the ground, blood pouring out of his mouth. So there will probably be a lot of flashbacks with Rudd as the three figure out what happened before the star died too soon.

When Will Only Murders In The Building Season 3 Be Released?
We don’t have an official date yet, because the show is still in its second season. But if the first two seasons are any indication, we can expect Season 3 to come out on Hulu around the summer of 2023. We can also expect 10 episodes of the new season, just like in Seasons 1 and 2.
