Sabalenka was conceived on May 5, 1998, in Minsk, Belarus’s capital city. A hockey player, her father Sergey passed away in 2019. Tennis was something Aryna took up by accident. She stated: “One day, as my father was taking me somewhere in the car, he happened to notice some tennis courts. He then drove me to court. It was as I liked and enjoyed it to be.
