The  Lincoln Lawyer Season 2: When Would It Come Out?

The Hollywood Reporter said that Netflix’s head of global television, Bela Bajaria, said at the Banff World Media Festival that the Lincoln Lawyer will be back for a second season. Most people won’t be surprised by this, since the show was in the top 10 for weeks after it came out, and Connelly’s six books all have Mickey Haller as a central character. The first season of The Lincoln Lawyer came out on the streaming service on May 13, 2022. Netflix didn’t say when the second season would be released, but we’ll likely have to wait until spring or summer 2023.

The  Lincoln Lawyer Season 1: Quick Recap

Just a quick review of season 1 before we get into what could and should happen if the show comes back for a second season. Micky Haller is thrown into the deep end when he takes over Jerry Vincent’s law practice and cases. Trevor Elliot is the biggest case of the first season. Elliot got off in court in the end, but he was killed when he was shot. We still don’t know if Elliot did the thing that’s being said about him.

After a long time away from his job, Micky returned (with a few bumps and bruises) fully cleared and able to continue working on his cases. At the end of the season, Micky can surf again, but the man with the tattoo who has been in the background all season watches from a distance, and then the show cuts to the credits. Even Cisco has problems. He quit the Saints, but Mickey is now paying for what he did. How will things turn out there? We have to wait and see.

As you may know, season 1 of the Netflix show is based on the second book in the series, not the first, which was shown in the movie starring Matthew McConaughey. We made some changes but mostly kept the same story as the original.
