Vigil Season 2: Plot
He’s hinted at a change in setting, which isn’t surprising given that a sequel set aboard a submarine would be uncommon.
In an interview with Radio Times, he commented, “We’ve probably told as many stories on a submarine as we’d like to tell.” Some of the characters we’ve created as we’ve worked on the film have the vibe of people we’d like to get to know. Recurring characters such as DCI Amy Silva Vigil may appear in the next second season as a result of his comments.
Vigil Season 2: Amy Silva will solve another case in Season 2 of Vigil
There isn’t much information on what the show may cover in a potential second season, aside from Tom Edge’s statement that it would probably not take place on a submarine. Edge.
While a new series based on the submarine itself seemed unlikely, writer Tom Edge previously suggested that he would revisit some of the characters in the future.
“”I believe we’ve told all the stories we intended to tell on a submarine,” “He made a comment about it. Some of the personalities we’ve created as we’ve gone along feel like they’d be fun to dive into. “So, if everyone else wants to do it, I’m happy to do it as well.”
Lorne MacFadyen, who played the traitor Doward in the first season, had an idea for a second series during a recent interview with BAFTA Scotland. He joked that there had been some discussion about doing a musical adaptation of the movie. “In my perspective, that would be fantastic. Do it, and I’ll sing it and perform it for you!”
In actuality, we have two options: either we follow the aftermath of Vigil’s disastrous tour and the ongoing conflict between the Navy and anti-nuclear deterrent activists, or Silva and Longacre investigate a crime unrelated to the submarine.
We’d be happy to see it again once the first run was a success, and we’ll keep you updated as additional information becomes available.
