There are a lot of great teen romance shows to watch, but one that I’ve liked for a while is the original Netflix show, Never Have I Ever. The story of Never Has I Ever is about Devi, a young Indian girl who is just trying to find herself and grow up in a strange world. The show was created by Lang Fisher and Mindy Kaling, and it is loosely based on Kaling’s childhood in Boston. Even though Season 3 ended on a cliffhanger and we’re still talking about it, I think it’s time to start looking forward to Season 4 of Never Have I Ever. Since season 3 just ended, there are so many different ways the show could end. Aneesa and Fabiola dated briefly, so we might see Aneesa continue to explore her sexuality in season 4, while Fab dates her new partner, Addison. Paxton is going to college at Arizona State University, while his best friend, Trent, failed his senior year at Sherman Oaks. That means Trent has another year to make it up and spend more time with his girlfriend, Eleanor. Ben gave Devi a “One Free Boink” card earlier in the school year, which she took as a joke but was not. This card led to Devi and Ben finally hooking up in the season 3 finale.
Since season 4 is the last, we could also see Devi, Eleanor, Fabiola, and the rest of the crew trying to deal with all the drama while also applying to colleges and getting ready for graduation. Honestly, we can’t wait to see what happens next.
“We got the script the other day, and damn, that’s all I’m going to say — there’s so much that happens to these Sherman Oaks kids. They never get a break,” the lead actress, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, told Elle. Her co-star, Jaren Lewison, agrees with her and says that season 4 was the “perfect farewell.”Jaren told Elle, “I think the writers planned this fourth season with such care, determination, and detail that we can all take comfort in the fact that it was a perfect ending. This fourth season is perfect.”

The current cast of Never Have I Ever, including the new characters for season 3, will probably all be back for the last season. Since Devi’s longtime boyfriend, Paxton Hall Yoshida, graduated from Sherman Oaks High in season 3 (and gave a great speech at the ceremony), fans are wondering if Paxton will be in season 4 of Never Have I Ever. Darren Barnet said that he thinks Paxton will be back on TV while he’s at Arizona State University for college. “I’m pretty sure Paxton will show up in Season 4,” Darren told USA Today. “After three seasons, I think I’ve added enough to the show that they won’t just write me out. Also, I haven’t been a diva.”
Thank goodness, we no longer have to wonder if Darren will come back as Paxton because showrunner Lang Fisher said that Darren will be in season 4. In an August 2022 interview, Lang told Deadline, “I want you to know that Paxton Hall-Yoshida is in Season 4.” “He’s in it just as much as in Season 3, so the love triangle is not over.”Since season 4 just finished filming, there aren’t many details out yet, but more news about the cast may be released at a later date. The final season of Never Have I Ever was announced in March in a letter to fans by Kaling and Fisher. Production on the final season began soon after, with Kaling releasing a photo from the writer’s room(which opens in a new tab) in April. Season 4 wrapped in early August, according to Elle(opens in a new tab), with the ensemble hosting a send-off carnival at which Fisher and Ramakrishnan both gave farewell remarks.
So far, the show has followed a regular schedule, with season 1 premiering on Netflix in April 2020, season 2 in July 2021, and season 3 this August. However, because season 4 was renewed and released ahead of schedule, the final season could arrive on Netflix in late spring or early summer of next year.

As previously reported by Deadline, Season 4 of Never Have I Ever will be the series’ final season. It’s tragic, but it was only a matter of time before we had to say goodbye to Devi and everyone else we’d grown to love.
Mindy Kaling tweeted a photo of herself in front of the Never Have I Ever Season 4 writer’s room and captioned it, “‘Never Have I Ever Writers World’ seems like a pretty specific amusement park!!” “I’m making some spicy things for the final season.”While it’s unfortunate that the show is ending, co-creator Kaling had a valid reason: she felt like the tale had run its course and that ending Never Have I Ever at Season 4 “made sense,” as she told Entertainment Tonight:
